    Is there anyway to lock Personalization settings?


    It's a pc at home; one account, administrator. My son continuously changes the Personalization settings (changes the background from "Stretch" to "Fit" among other things); is there any way to lock this setting? It was possible in windows 7 via a group policy, but changing the group policy now doesn't do anything, since personalization options are available through the new Settings app.

    Hi,

    We suggest that you follow the steps below to put your settings back to default and see if it helps.

    • Right-click your mouse on your desktop.
    • Click on Personalize.
    • Select Colors.
    • Click on High contrast settings.
    • From the drop-down menu, select None.
    • Click Apply.
    • Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

    Let us know the result.

    None of the Apps showing up on Lock Screen!


    Nope that did not help. I guess the steps mentioned there are primarily for the issue of the Lockscreen Apps not being shown as an option in the Settings>Personalization>Lock screen settings page.

    My issue is that even though i select those apps from the settings menu but they dont show any status on the Lockscreen.
