Windows 10: Wrong resolution recommendation on 2nd monitor

Hi community,Couple of days ago I decided to upgrade to windows 11 and now my 2nd monitor resolution decided not to work. I'm using a Dell Latitude 5520 and since it only has one HDMI connector I'm using 2 monitors without the laptop's screen the 2nd monitor is connected with a usb-c hub which has another HDMI port. I connected two identical monitors which the max resolution is 2560x1440 but windows only gives me this resolution on my first monitor. Once I finish installing windows, I thought I needed to update my drivers, so I tried to download nvidia's drivers but I got a compatibility e

2nd Monitor Wrong Resolution

I have two monitors, of different resolutions. My main one is 1920x1080, and works fine. The other is 1280x1024. Recently, the second one has been having some issues. After sleeping, it is sometimes unrecognized, and can only be found with a restart. Today,
it suddenly changed its resolution. It is now squished, with some empty black space. I have verified its resolution in Window's Display Settings. I also checked that scaling was at 100%. In the monitor's menu it shows its recommended resolution as well as
what it is currently at, both match. I checked in my NVDIA settings that the resolution was also set correctly. I have restarted and all that, and tried the monitors auto adjust. My graphics card is a gtx 750 ti.

 

2nd monitor not displaying correct resolution

First monitor is a IPS 2460 x1440 resolution at 60 hertz, and my 2nd monitor, should be 2460x1440 resolution at 144 hertz (benq XL2730Z ) gaming monitor;however, it is only displaying
1920x1080 A 60hz as the recommended option.

my graphics card is a little dated but it should still work? has been updated to latest

ive tried using a dual dvi and hdmi, neither helps to solve the issue, also tried using different hdmi incase one is defective..

When I use an app in the 2nd monitor the resolution is fine. Just the desktop and the task bar resolution is too big on 2nd monitor.
