Windows 10: Wrong time in the taskbar after upgrade to 1903

Hi,

I upgraded my computer to 1903, everything works as it should, but I just don't see it legibly (see strange characters only) time in the main bar, see screen. All attempts to repair failed. (I tried sfc / scannow) I copied the fonts from install.wim, unfortunately still with the same result. Can I advise me what to do with it?


The text on others is correct, elsewhere I have not yet encountered a similar font problem.

This can happen if the Taskbar was not refreshed for a long time. To resolve your concern, we recommend that you reset the Taskbar by following the steps below:

• Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC key to open Task Manager.
• On the Processes tab, look for Windows Explorer.
• Right-click Windows Explorer, then click Restart.
• Wait for File Explorer to restart and see if Taskbar starts working again. Let us know if this method works for you.

Refreshing the taskbar from time to time will prevent encountering this type of issue moving forward.

I cannot select start, taskbar, & action center in color settings.


I also have this problem.
Upgraded to 1903 2 computers, and the "Start, taskbar, and action center" is not grayed out.
Clean installed 1903 on another PC and there it IS greyed out!
Tried suggestions above without success.

 

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
