Windows 10: WSL 2 WIN11 pass through USB SD Card reader

My goal: pass through a USB connected SD Card into WSL so that I can image the SD Card using ddMy set up:Win11 10.0.22000 Build 22000WSL2OS installed UbuntuLinux Kernel: 5.10.102.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 #1 SMPI have tried to use USBIPD to pass through the USB device which has worked as the lsusb shows:Bus 002 Device 003: ID 067b:2731 Prolific Technology, Inc. USB SD Card ReaderYet, I cannot find where it has mounted the drive?Have I missed a step?I have used drvfs to mount it in windows and can access by mounting in Linux which does work but this is just a mounted folder, I need the dis

USB 3.0 vs PCIE SD Card Reader

I import lots of big video files from cameras with SD cards. Which of these three methods will be the fastest?
PCIE SD Card Reader (reccomendations?
USB 3.0 SD Card Reader
USB 3.0 to microUSB (plug directly into camera with SD card still inside)

• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• What are the other troubleshooting steps have you done so for?
• Have you tried to use another SD card reader and see if it is getting recognized or detected by your computer?

SD card/SD card reader no longer working

Hi. New to this so not sure of category.
I have a Lenovo G70. Windows 10, 64bit
My SD card reader has stopped working.
In Device Manager, the SD card is not listed.
I can't format the card as it is not listed.
I cannot locate the card at all as it is not listed anywhere.
I've tried chkdsk and get 'Cannot open volume for direct access'
I don't even have the icon displaying when micro SD card is inserted.
It did work previously but I had errors. Scanning and fixing did not help.
I place the SD card in my Android phone and it works fine.
Please help!
