Windows 10: WSL dont append Windows Path

I just installed the ubuntu 18.04 distribution in offline mode and it works correctly, but I can not append Windows ENV % Path% in my

WSL $ PATH

## bash
> echo $PATH

output:
/home/user/.local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games: /

I have also created the wsl.conf in etc
[interop]

enabled = true

appendWindowsPath = true

and should be able to see the windows routes stored in the% PATH%, because of this error I can not run win32 applications under bash

Actually, this is a consumer-oriented forum for general Windows 10 questions.

As WSL concerns mostly developers and Enterprise, I suggest asking there.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think the purpose of the echo command was to check if ~/bin was in the $PATH file. My problem is that I can't decipher the output and I don't know how to add ~/bin to the $PATH file.

Just for clarification, the snippet of instructions I gave is just a few steps in the installation process. Nothing is actually supposed to be installed with those steps.
