    WSL2 100% cpu


    I have fully set up ubuntu bash on windows 10 1909. This issue has only happened after installing update KB45335996. When I open ubuntu bash I have tried typing bash, new windows terminal and searching from start menu. When I open it it is an empty shell, no commands work. When I open it 5 processes called init use 100% of my cpu approx 16.5% each. They have no icons and cannot be killed using task manager. I am using a gtx 1060, i5 8400 with 16 gb of dual channel 2333mhz ram.

    cpu usage at 100%

    CPU usage at 100% from start up for no apparently good reason. Service Host appears to be the problem but I cant narrow it down more than that at present.

    Any suggestions?

    I am using Windows 10 full release version 64 bit.
