Windows 10: WSL2 Bridge connection to LAN.

Installed WSL2 and I want it to get DHCP from my LAN. I do not want an internal of private network or port forwarding.It always gets an IP in the 172... range. After reboot it all seems to reset itself. aI've tried changing the vEthernet WSL adapter to External network in the hyper-v manager but it gives me the error: Failed while adding virtual Ethernet switch connections.

I have failed into installing WSL for Windows. I have read here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../install-win10 how to do it, and at step 4:

1. Download the latest package:
   
   • WSL2 Linux kernel update package for x64 machines

   If you're using an ARM64 machine, please download the ARM64 package instead. If you're not sure what kind of machine you have, open Command Prompt or PowerShell and enter: systeminfo | find "System Type".

2. Run the update package downloaded in the previous step. (Double-click to run - you will be prompted for elevated permissions, select ‘yes’ to approve this installation.)

Network bridge suddenly stopped working in windows 10

To isolate your concern, we would like to know how your network bridge is connected? Is it a wireless connection or a wired connection?

In the meantime, we suggest that you set up your network bridge to refresh the adapter and reconnect the other devices. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Add Incoming Connections from the Internet.
• Bridge the two network connections that you want to use.
• Forget the internal network connection (under
  Manage Known Networks).
• Reconnect to your bridge network.
• Restart your computer and check if your concern persists.

Bridging LAN and Bluetooth

Hi, is it possible to bridge my LAN connection and bluetooth connection on my windows xp pro computer in such a way that i can access my adsl connection from a bluetooth device? Im running a netgear router set up as a dhcp server, and all of my home pcs
use it as their default gateway, which works great.

What I'd like to do is set up my new Nokia N70(Fantastic phone) in such a way that it connects to my pc with bluetooth and then uses my router at 192.168.0.1 as an internet gateway, so that i dont have to use 3G or gprs to access the net and download files
etc on my phone?
