Windows 10: WSL2 CUDA driver detected on Windows but not on Ubuntu subsystem

Hi, all!I have enabled all Hyper-V features, Virtualization, and Linux subsystem on Windows feature. And installed Ubuntu 20.04 from Windows Store.In Windows Shell, when I type:C:\Users\*****>nvidia-smiIt gives the output:Sun Feb 20 22:29:03 2022 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ NVIDIA-SMI 511.79 Driver Version: 511.79 CUDA Version: 11.6 -------------------------------+----------------------+----------------------+ GPU Name TCC/WDDM Bus-Id Disp.A Volatile Uncorr. Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2)

Can anybody know when ''Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2)''
is expected to launch?

 

Windows 10 subsystem for Linux, Ubuntu

Can Ubuntu or Linux be run on Windows 10 subsystem in full mode such as running Hadoop, Hive, Java in Ubuntu subsystem of Windows 10? Or just the basic bash, sudo commands only?

WSL2 for windows

I have failed into installing WSL for Windows. I have read here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../install-win10 how to do it, and at step 4:

1. Download the latest package:
   
   • WSL2 Linux kernel update package for x64 machines

   If you're using an ARM64 machine, please download the ARM64 package instead. If you're not sure what kind of machine you have, open Command Prompt or PowerShell and enter: systeminfo | find "System Type".

2. Run the update package downloaded in the previous step. (Double-click to run - you will be prompted for elevated permissions, select ‘yes’ to approve this installation.)
