Windows 10: WSL2 Stopped Working

WSL stopped working today when I started up my machine. I get the following error: WSL2 is not supported with your current machine configuration.Please enable the "Virtual Machine Platform" optional component and ensure virtualization is enabled in the BIOS.For information please visit https://aka.ms/enablevirtualizationError code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/CreateVm/0x80370102Press any key to continue...I have checked my BIOS and virtualization is enabled. I have tried removing the Virtual Machine Platform from Windows and reinstalling it, which has not worked. Vmware Workstat

WSL2 for windows

I have failed into installing WSL for Windows. I have read here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../install-win10 how to do it, and at step 4:

1. Download the latest package:
   
   • WSL2 Linux kernel update package for x64 machines
   [COLOR=var(--text)][COLOR=var(--info-dark)] Note[/COLOR]
   If you're using an ARM64 machine, please download the ARM64 package instead. If you're not sure what kind of machine you have, open Command Prompt or PowerShell and enter: systeminfo | find "System Type".

2. Run the update package downloaded in the previous step. (Double-click to run - you will be prompted for elevated permissions, select ‘yes’ to approve this installation.)

while installing wsl2 on microsoft ubuntu 22.04 this error is shown

WSL2 - Upgrade / Installation

When trying to upgrade to wsl2 I get this error:

When trying to install from scratch I get this error:

I have hyper-v, wsl, vm platform features enables and virtualization is also enabled in bios.

my windows version is: 21H2 OS Build 1904

Tried reinstalling a couple of times already, tried all available version of ubuntu (both from microsoft store and through wsl, available on wsl --list --online WSL1 is running properly but I need wsl2 to work with docker desktop
