Windows 10: wushowhide.diagcab

Hello --- I was having a problem with august's' update so I got a post to say to use wushowhide.diagcab to hide updates ---


I tried it today -- but it did not seem to work ---


Today's updates were office and .Net updates ---


windows update show 4 updates 3 office and the .net ---


I ran wushowhide.diagcab and it showed all 4 updates -- selected the .net to hide


from what I can tell it seemed to put the net update in the hidden list ---


but when I when back to the window's update screen -- the net update was still there


at first I thought that it would be hidden internally but that did not seem to be the case


after the reboot, update reports that it was installed and wushowhide.diagcab does not have any hidden updates


what did I miss --- is I did not seen an "apply" button with wushowhide.diagcab


Is there any doc on how to use wushowhide.diagcab

WUShowHide Tool showing driver updates that aren't listed in WU


When I run the WUShowHide tool, it lists drivers that are not listed in the main WU interface. Even if there are no updates in WU at all and it says it's completely up to date, WUShowHide still lists some - things like Intel SMBus and memory controller drivers. Why is that?

 

Most painless way to reinstall windows 10?

Im thinking of creaters fall if i should block it, prevent it form being installed with wushowhide, it is almost downloaded

Wushowhide not working


Hello,
After receiving some answers how to get rid of KB4023057, which I found in the installed updates list 5 times ! and it
keeps installing if I do not disable updates, I downloaded "wushowhide" and ran it several times. It did not show any update to hide.
How do I "hide" this update ?
Answers will be appreciated.
