Windows 10: WWIZINDEX.DAT file keeps popping up onto my windows 11 computer after deleting

Even after open safe mode Deleting the WWIZINDEX.DAT file it keeps coming back on my desktop, I'm not sure what this dat file does.How can delete permanently? Thanks

Even after deleting the install.dat file it keeps coming back onto my desktop, I am not sure what this dat file does. When I open it with word it is blank. How can I permanently delete this dat file? Thanks

 

need some help opening a .dat file.....

I don't know if will help, but I noticed in a thread someone (@chefsuccess.com) mentioned, that, you need to use the restore to import the file.

I don't use the software, so, I have no idea on the steps/procedure.

Windows Installer V 5.0.22000.653 keeps popping up.

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Now the Windows Installer keeps popping up. I have tried various suggestions I have read online, but the program says I cannot delete the files it is suggested to delete., I can get into the system by following the press Window key +R, then %temp% but after highlighting each file, the computer will not let me delete the files. Thank you,
