Cannot sign into hotels, public sites like Star Bucks. The "msftconnecttest" page fails after a minute of two. No problem with connection to our secure home network. As a test, my iPhone will connect to these public sites.

Stuck on msftconnecttest.com/redirect when trying to pull up login is page for wifi

I can connect to a private network perfectly fine, but i soon as I want to connect to a public network with a login page to connect to their wifi (like a hotel) it gets stuck on a blank page with the web address saying www.msftconnecttest.com/redirect.
I used to be able to load these login pages, so I believe it is a settings issue. Anyone know how to get past this redirect page and onto the login page so i can connect to the hotels wifi? Thanks in advance!

can't connect to public wifi when login is required

Just returned from a trip where I discovered that my Nokia 521 (T-Mobile) would not connect to any public wifi hotspots (e.g. at airports such as Dallas/Ft Worth International, Juan Sanatamaria International, etc.) where the hotspot required a login. On
other devices, connecting to these hotspots brings up a web page that asks the user to enter their email address and/or some other identifier. Once that's done, the connection process completes. On the 521, the browser (IE) does not come up to display the
web page. Swtching to the browser manually doesn't help unfortunately because the required login page is nowhere to be found. With no login, the connection process is essentially hung and never finishes.

I'm guessing this is a general problem with Windows Phone software and not just limited to the 521. If so, it's a pretty serious problem because many airports (and other public places like hotels and cafes) require logins like this. Please let me know
if there is some sort of setting or work around that makes this problem go away. Thanks!

Wifi shows "connected, no access" redirects to router login page

Hello all, I really hope you can help me.

I have a Surface 3 and a few days ago my home WiFi stoped working on it. I have no problems connecting with my laptop but whenever I attempt to connect on my tablet the connection shows I have no Internet access and then immediately redirects me to the login page for the router.

I'm able to login to the router with no issues and it shows that my tablet is connected but trying to go to any other Web page just redirects me back to the router login.

I can login to the mobile hotspot via my phone and access the Web just fine but the network at home refuses to work.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers and everything here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/...nection-issues but the problem persists
