Windows 10: X-plorer wired controller not working for windows 10

My guitar hero 2 x-plorer controller is not working when i plug it in and it lights up with two lights then 4 lights and then runs into a issue in the drivers thing saying "Device descriptor request failed" ive searched everywere to try to find a fix to this but i havent found anything that might help. when i try to update it it says something about the drivers already being at its most recent update. i might need just something to install the proper drivers for it but any help would be nice.ive triedupdating the driversuninstalling and reinstallinglooking up tutorials

I have a GH2 X-Plorer controller, it has worked until now, I already tested it on another device and it still works, but when I connect it to my pc it wont be detected by windows, The lights on the controller will flash but they will never connect, the device
does not appear on my device manager list anywhere at all, not even under hidden devices, and it does not make a sound when connected or disconnected, so windows does not even detect that something is being plugged in

Suggest you to plug in another USB device in to the PC to check if the device gets detected on the computer.
