Windows 10: XAudio2Create failed after the update 2021/4/20

I followed every step .
The code worked before the update. But now when I try to do something like this:


pXAudio2->CreateSourceVoice &pSourceVoice, WAVEFORMATEX*&wfx


It is said the value of pSourceVoice is nullptr.


I'm sure I have done all these code down here.

What will happen on Jan 20, 2016?


Strollin: I understand your suggestion, but that means I'll have to re-install all my sofftware etc. again. This is not an enticing thought at all.

LCDR: I tried the old activation code I used before - it is the same on you posted.

I tried the steps listed at the WinAero site. Last one failed because it said the server could not be located. But I did get the Jan 20, 2016 date back. So that's something.

 

Windows 10 fails to update


When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

Windows 10 updates 4-16-20

I just installed Microsoft updates (4-16-20) for Windows 10 and it seems that my touch screen is not working any longer. Any suggestions?
