Windows 10: Xbox 360 connect with windows 8

Good dayI lost my driver for my sound on windows 8 crushed my system so i have all the codes that is needed so for me it was a big fight because ist so clued up with computer's and software.so i want to know will my xbox 360 connect with winnows 8 thanks.I looked for winnows 10 but its a bit expensive for a one of out of my pocket so would just want to know if you can answer because it's a big job for me to repair my winnows 8 and now most of the apps doesn't work on it.

Xbox 360 for Windows does not work

To address your concern, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the Xbox 360 controller driver. To do that, follow these steps:

• Go to the Device Manager.
• In Device Manager locate Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
  and right click it.
• Choose Uninstall.
  
• After the driver has been uninstalled, restart your computer. When your computer restarts, Windows 10 will automatically install the missing driver.
