    XBox 360 Wireless receiver has quit working after minor Windows 10 upgrade


    Upon minor upgrade from Windows 10 Home Ver.1903 OS build 18362.900 to Win 10 Home Ver.2004 OS Build 19041.329 I'd completely lost all drivers for my XBox 360 wireless receiver and controller. The latest is in perfectly good condition and the whole situation is thoroughly explained here by the guy with a same problem [see by the link with photos and thorough description]. No manual driver install, no device delete doesn't solve the issue. Can anybody point me to the solution? Initially both XBox 360 and its receiver were coping with Windows 10 just wright!

    Xbox 360 for Windows does not work

    Hi,

    To address your concern, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the Xbox 360 controller driver. To do that, follow these steps:

    • Go to the Device Manager.
    • In Device Manager locate Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
      and right click it.
    • Choose Uninstall.
    • After the driver has been uninstalled, restart your computer. When your computer restarts, Windows 10 will automatically install the missing driver.
