Windows 10: Xbox accessories won't install + controller not working

I bought an xbox PDP wires controller for W10 and W11. It keeps disconnecting, so I am trying to download the xbox accessories app but it won't. I tried manually resetting the windows store cache but it doesn't work. I also tried downloading the PDP controller app instead, though it also doesn't work. So to test it I downloaded Whatsapp and that works. I've reset my PC, I looked into device manager for the controller. Just won't work.+The problem with the controller disconnecting keeps happening after i play a specific game, but it could be a coincidence.I did some research on how to fix there

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc
