Windows 10: xbox adaptor not working in windows 10/11 tried everything please help!!

Hi all,I did ask this last year & didn't get resolved in the end as i formatted and started again worked for a while ,,,anyway...I hope someone can help with this driving me a bit loopy to say the least!!i have two machines desktop & laptop windows latest versionXbox one adapter been working fine on my desktop for ages suddenly it stopped working...it now longer can see the controller..but still ok on the laptop!Heres what i have tried1. Uninstall the drivers completely right click uninstalled from device manager and uninstall drivers, downloaded the driver from windows catalog and

after doing a but of more research i have found that

• Xbox - Net - 7/11/2017 12:00:00 AM - 1.0.46.1.
  

are the correct ones for slim version for the adaptor but it finds it but states it cannot verify signature, a recent hardware change, or drivers are corrupt so now it has a yellow ! Mark in device manager but now sees it as an xbox adaptor...

so any ideas?? Are these correct drivers?!?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

Xbox one adaptor on PC works on laptop but not PC!!

Thanks for your help so far unfortunately had no joy...Something is seriously wrong now it is at Xbox ACC after I try to update drivers using the 64-bit version in the links you gave it cannot update them no longer..it is weird as I have done this process
before and it has been fine...

But as stated before it works fine on the Laptop...!!!

So im stuck at the XBOX ACC stage...

Tried automatic scan for drivers via windows update and it comes back unable to find any drivers for your device...

What next...seems to have gone backwards abit..!!!

If it helps it is the later model of the xbox wireless adaptor Model is :1790

On the laptop the adaptor drivers are dated 11/07/2017

On the windows catalogue the last updated was 12/08/2015 so where are the later ones??

please advise
