Windows 10: Xbox app for windows is not detecting any of my drives

I am having this problem whenever i try to install a game on my pc.

It Seems Xbox app is not detecting any of my drives.


Any one else having a similar problem?

If you are still experiencing the same issue after performing the solutions provided, we suggest that you uninstall the Xbox App from the computer and install it back.

To uninstall the Xbox App, you can follow the steps below:

• Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
• Right-click and select Run as administrator.
• Type Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage, and then hit
  Enter.
• Launch Windows Store and install Xbox App again.

To resolve the issue, we recommend that you run the Windows App Troubleshooter from this link. 

 

If you are still experiencing the same issue, follow the steps below to reset the Windows Store cache and update the Xbox App. 

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard. 
• Click on Command Prompt (Admin). 
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter. 
• Close the Command prompt, and then launch Windows Store. 
• Update the Xbox App and the Xbox Accessories App in the Windows Store.  
• If there is no option for you to update it, uninstall and reinstall the apps. 

We also suggest that you check for new updates on Windows 10.

To check for new updates, you can follow the steps below:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then select Settings.
• Click Update and Security.
• Select Windows Update and click the Check for updates button.

XBox app crashes on launch in Windows 10

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer and check.
Follow the steps provided below.

• 
  Type Windows Powershell in search box.
  
• 
  Right click on Windows Powershell and select
  Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Copy and paste the following command.
  
  • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage
• 
  Press Enter key.
  

After uninstalling the Xbox app, I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.
