Windows 10: Xbox app, Microsoft store and account won’t sign in

Hello, before posting my issue I would like to start by saying I have tried various troubleshooting via Microsoft forums. When I attempt to sign into any Microsoft app Xbox app Microsoft Store the option to sign in is there but when pressed I’m not directed to any other sign in window. On the Xbox App it briefly flashes white and goes back to the Home Screen on the Xbox app. The Microsoft store does the same minus the flash. I have done the sfc/scannow, setting Xbox to automatic from the services section. Uninstall/Reinstall, nothing works. It is my main account on the computer. Unrelated t

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

Yes. When you sign in to the Store with a Microsoft account like in step 5 in Option Two of the tutorial below instead of switching to a Microsoft account you will and stay a local account.

Xbox Insider Hub does not appear in the Microsoft Store

1. Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
   
2. Have you signed in using the Microsoft account?
   
3. Are you able to search for other apps on the Microsoft Store?
   

However, you may follow these steps to check if that helps.

Step 1: Suggest you to run the apps troubleshooter to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.

Step 2: You can also try to manually
download the Xbox Insider Hub from the link.
