Windows 10: Xbox App not launching games/accepting invites & Game Bar not starting up

Hello,let me get straight to the point.The issues- the Xbox App on the PC doesn't really work for me. I can open it up, I can add friends and I can download games, but that's about it. Neither can I start downloaded games, nor can I accept invites Sea of Thieves. For the latter, it gives me a screen inside the app that says something like "oh no, looks like it crashed. Try restarting the app". Signing in also doesn't work, if I log myself out. Most buttons inside the app literally do nothing. I can click them, but absolutely nothing happens. Xbox Game bar crashes on 'Join Game' or when accepting game invites

I've had this issue for a couple of weeks where my Xbox Game bar crashes every time I accept a game invite, or try to click 'Join Game'. I do not get an error message. It freezes, then I get the blue wheel spinning for a few seconds and then the game bar crashes. The game doesn't crash though. Joining an Xbox party works just fine. Inviting people to join my game works just fine. I also cannot join people in game from the Xbox App (from the Friends list). I've been looking it up, and I cannot find even ONE person with the same issue .

I should mention I have only tried this with Sea of Thieves, as it's the only multiplayer game I have that uses the Xbox app and is multiplayer. However, I moved to playing it on Steam and still have the same issue when getting Xbox invites (since it's cross platform). Steam invites work just fine, so it's definitely an Xbox issue.

What I've already tried:

1. Checking age restrictions on my account + checking my age on the account is 18+ (i.e. my actual age lol)

2. 'Repair' every Xbox-related app and restarted my PC

3. 'Reset' every Xbox-related app and restarted my PC

4. Logging out and back in (not sure that was ever gonna work, but oh well)

Sorry, I wish I could provide more details, but like I said, I do not get an error message.

2) Try resetting Xbox Game Bar, Xbox Console Companion and Xbox Live in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox feature > Advanced Options. Restart PC and try again.

3) If it still fails try re-registering the app from Option 2 here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-apps-re...

4) If those fail then try uninstalling the app in Settings location above, restart PC then reinstall from MS Store Settings > My Library.

5) If none of those fixes help then go over Windows using this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

6) If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now.
