Windows 10: Xbox App not signing in

I recently bought a subscription to the PC Gamepass to try it out. But on redownloading the Xbox (Beta) app for Windows 10 I cannot seem to sign in at all.


On opening the app I'll get a login screen where it finds my account and asks me to select it. On selecting it it'll welcome me back with my Live name. On clicking "Let's play" the app will go through a brief load/refresh and yet nothing will happen. All I get is another login prompt over and over without actually logging in.


Windows store works just fine, I can find games and DL them off there but apparently I require the Xbox (beta) app to play them.


I've tried restoring windows through USB, Powershell commands, sfc /scannow and completely restoring all the things I disabled through OOSU10. Nothing seems to have worked.

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the Settings icon.
• Select System, and then select
  Apps & features.
• Find the game, and then click on Advanced options.
• Click Reset.
