Windows 10: Xbox app opens, then crashes. Tried all available troubleshooting, need support

Really beating my head against the wall. I've tried all troubleshooting suggestions online and can't get the app to load.

It looks like it is starting, but freezes as the images load then crashes. Windows 10 - no settings changed on my end. Been like this for about a week. Any ideas? Crash report below...

Xbox app crashing seconds after opening

troubleshooter found nothing, xbox support couldnt help.

though it appears to be my friends list loading that crashes the app, i have a 2 second window between opening the app and it crashing and if i can in that window change it from showing friends to recent players the app doesnt crash

XBox app crashes on launch in Windows 10

tried tagging you and a few others.. not sure if it worked so i'm replying this way.

i've used the help here, on Lenovo, and Xbox to no avail. final roadblock was the "rollbacking" issue. i'm no techie and don't want to do something that will put my computer at risk.

how else can i resolve this issue?
