    So I have a laptop and a desktop PC. One was recently updated to Windows 11 and one is still Windows 10. I recently tried to install Sea of Thieves on my external drive and it told me it had to remove apps from another device, which I okayed, and I thought it would be all good except it had an error and said it couldn't do it. So I've been trying to clear the windows apps folder but I can't get access, so I tried it on my laptop and I also couldn't get access, so I tried to install it on my laptop and it started installing straight away. Anyways, what I assume has happened is the windows apps

    I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer and check.
    Follow the steps provided below.


    • Type Windows Powershell in search box.

    • Right click on Windows Powershell and select
      Run as administrator.

    • Copy and paste the following command.
      • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage

    • Press Enter key.
    After uninstalling the Xbox app, I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.
