Windows 10: Xbox app stuck on loading screen when opening on parallels on Macbook

The xbox app gets stuck on the black screen with the logo when opening the app. I am using paallels on a M2 Macbook Pro. I have read on other forums where the xbox app works fine in parallel, so im not sure what im doing different.

MacBook running Parallels


MacBook late 2009 running parallels. Originally upgraded when Win 8 was installed. Win 10 upgrade loaded Home. Removed Win 10, upgraded to Win 8.1. Now when I try to reload Win 10, it will not install Pro, only Home.

When I go to change product key under activation, it will not let me change serial number. (Old Win 8.0 Serial Number)

Clarification: Cannot even select change product key. I only get a "ding".

Xbox App is stuck on loading screen when launched; connected wirelessly; other apps are working perfectly fine, already tried restarting PC and updated the Xbox App; just upgraded to Windows 10 today;

all requirements from setting the xbox one preferences are all set, it is just that cannot log into the xbox app as it is always loading; run DXDIAG prompt/command and info are as follows:

processor intel(r) core(tm) i7-3635Qm CPu 2 2.40GHz (8 CPUs),~2.4GHz

memory: 8192MB Ram

Directx version: 12

---- system has exceeded the requirements

runs the troubleshooter wizard, receives an error stating that "it wont work with this windows"

-- run the SFC Scan and is on the process;

any other ideas?
