Windows 10: Xbox app windows 10 says I’m not connected to internet when signing in

When I start my windows 10 Xbox app the app loads in and shows me games but tells me to sign in in the corner when I attempt to sign in it gives me a prompt that I am not connected to internet all other apps and web browsers are working fine and when I go to the cloud play screen it tells me I am connected to the internet

A corrupted file is one of the possible reasons as to why you can't sign in to the Xbox app on Windows 10. Changing some the network settings can help to resolve the issue. To change your network settings, kindly follow the steps below:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then type
  Internet Options in the search box.
• Click the Connections tab, and then click on the
  LAN settings button.
• Uncheck Use a proxy server for your LAN, and then check
  Automatically detect settings.
• Click OK, and then click OK
  again to save the settings.
• Launch Xbox app and sign in again.

If you still unable to sign in to Xbox app, kindly reset the app from the Settings menu by performing the following steps:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the Settings icon.
• Select System, and then select
  Apps & features.
• Find the game, and then click on Advanced options.
• Click Reset.
• Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Windows 10 xbox app says i'm not connected to internet

When I open the Xbox app in Windows 10 build 10240, it says:

"You are not connected to the internet

Check your network connection and try again"

and after clicking cancel is says:

"We can't sign you in right now. Try again later" with error code 0x3fb

I've been having this issue for 4 days now and no other app/browser has this issue
