Windows 10: Xbox controller stuck input after un-plugging from PC

So I have encountered an issue with my Xbox controller while on my PC. If I am holding down one of the triggers or moving a joystick and the controller gets un-plugged, then there is a permanent input "Usually permanent scrolling". So far, the only fix I have found is restarting my PC, which is a bit of a pain. My drivers are up to date, and troubleshooting detects nothing wrong. I have tried everything I can think of, and searched around online for answers, but haven't found any discussions on it yet. Curious if anyone else has had the same problem and found an easier fix.

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.

Oblivion PC Xbox controller

Could someone suggest a way to use my xbox controller with the pc version of oblivion?

2. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC currently?
   
3. Is your wireless controller using Bluetooth to connect?
   

I understand that the Xbox controller is slowing your PC, this issue might be caused due to incompatible drivers.

I suggest you to follow the methods mentioned below and check if that helps:

Method 1: Improve PC performance. Refer the follow link for

Note: When you reset your PC, you can choose whether you want to keep your personal files or remove.
I suggest you to take a backup of your personal data before performing ‘Reset’ to stay on a safer side.
