Windows 10: Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 Only Works When Plugged In PC

Holy **** I've never though I'd have so many freaking problems connecting a MICROSOFT DEVICE to a MICROSOFT PRODUCT.I have windows 10I have a fully bluetooth and wifi capable motherboardI have the xbox accesories app and I updated the firmwareWhen I pair it to windows, it says it was successfull, but then instead of automatically connecting, it says "paired"Only works when plugged in if i wanted this i wouln't have spent nearly 200 dollars for this ****It says it's connected and 100% battery but when I launch a game this **** doesn't workI have owned this controller for 2 years and I have on

Xbox Elite controller Series 2 on windows 10

I am trying to use my xbox elite controller series 2 with my pc and when I plug it in with the cable I received when I bought the controller, it just vibrates. Then when I hold down the xbox button it will just keep flashing. This works when I do it on
my xbox so its not the cord or controller. Also I have been able to use it with this cable in the past. Anyone know why its not working all of a sudden.

Hello, My Xbox elite controller series 2 right thumbstick just stops working + when playing Destiny 2 in menu it changes from controller to mouse back a fourth.

Hey folks! i recently got my elite series 2 and it works fine but. on windows it shows up as an xbox one controller

and in steam it shows up as that aswell.
I'm quite confused as to why.
