Windows 10: Xbox Elite series 2 controller wont show up when scanning for bluetooth devices

Hey,


On the lastest update for windows 10 I am unable to connect the Elite series 2 controller to my PC using bluetooth. It works via the provided USB cable provided. I did appear as a hidden device in the device manager and I tried uninstalling it from there and attempting to pair again, however that did not work.


Following something I found in another thread I was led here: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/hardware-network/accessories/connect-and-troubleshoot-xbox-one-bluetooth-issues unfortuantly there was no useful information.


Seems I am not the only person having this issue but I can't see a thread in which it was resolved.

I thought I was close to finding a solution. I uninstalled my Bluetooth driver and installed the Generic Microsoft Driver. To do this, go into the Device Manager and "Upgrade" your driver and select that you want to point to a driver on your PC. For
me it lists my Qualcom driver and the Generic MS driver. Now the PC lists the controller as connected for a short amount of time then it says "paired" It keeps blinking back and forth. The controller just keeps blinking and never thinks it's connected.

Xbox Elite Series 2 controller losing connection pc

Hello ,

I using windows 10 os system and xbox elite series 2 controller.

When i pair with bluetooth 2 device Elite controller and stereo headphones

controller losing connection each 10 or 20 seconds but if headphones doesnt support

stereo it works normally.

I tested it many times.

Is there a any solution about the topic ?
