Windows 10: Xbox Game Bar automatically turns off my mic

Hi,

My computer is always recording when I game. When something I want to save happens, I press alt+f10. (My hotkey) I can hear everything perfectly and it's all fine, but I can't hear my own voice. When I open the game bar tab I can make it record my own voice, so it works in some way, but when I switch tabs it automatically mutes itself. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Xbox Game Bar Capture Doesn't Record Mic Audio

I understand that you are facing issues while recording microphone audio using game bar while playing games.

In addition, you can also check if the Microphone for game bar is enabled under privacy settings.

1. Go to Settings (press Windows +
   I key together) > Privacy.
   
2. On the left hand pane scroll down and look for
   Microphone.
   
3. Toggle Allow apps to access Microphone
   to ON.
   
4. Under Choose which Microsoft Store app can access your Microphone toggle Xbox game bar to
   ON.
   
5. Restart the game bar.
