Windows 10: Xbox Game Bar - Cannot use party feature

I recently bought a PC and have been having trouble using Xbox Game Bar to create or join parties.When I attempt to join a preexisting party or invite someone to my own, it will not work. After seeing that I am "connecting" and others are "disconnected," I will receive this error message: "Something went wrong with your party. Please try again later."I have attempted several things to troubleshoot the problem. I have gone through all of my sound settings, and my headset appears to be working fine. It is configured properly, up-to-date, and works fine with other applications.I have also experim

Xbox game bar party chat in the setting of xbox game bar party chat audio settings are not being saved but the audio to windows it self saved what i set it to but xbox game bar if i change the settings for party chat it does not save any idea on how to
fix this ? this is doing this on three PCs as well.

Try resetting Xbox Game Bar, Xbox Console Companion and Xbox Live in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox feature > Advanced Options. Restart PC and try again.

If it still fails try re-registering the app from Option 2 here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-apps-re...

If those fail then try uninstalling the apps in Settings location above, restart PC then reinstall from MS Store Settings > My Library.

If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, and is also the most stable method to advance to the latest version. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m...
