Windows 10: Xbox game bar crashing upon joining a party, and not allowing me to connect in a party I made

    Xbox game bar crashing upon joining a party, and not allowing me to connect in a party I made


    I just started having this issue today where every time I join someone else's party, after a few seconds of waiting for it to fully connect, it crashes and closes, and when I create a party, it says that there was an error, without an actual error code.I've tried updating windows, repairing and resetting game bar, and my internet is perfectly fine.

    Xbox Game Bar Crashing When Joining Party

    Xbox Game Bar has recently started crashing parties when I join them. If I join myself or if I am invited, it will automatically kick me from party and also boot every other party member out of the party as well. I have rolled back a recent Windows update
    and reinstalled all of my drivers. I have tried terminating, repairing, and reinstalling Xbox Game Bar, and nothing seems to work. Any idea how to fix?

    Can't connect to Xbox Party through Game Bar on Windows 10 Xbox game bar crashing upon joining a party, and not allowing me to connect in a party I made :(

    Hi! I hope someone else might have some experience with this issue... I have a desktop and a laptop on windows 10. With the desktop I can log onto xbox parties no problem. With my laptop I can only log onto xbox parties that only have other windows 10
    users in it. As soon as an xbox player joins the party crashes, or if there already is an xbox player in the party it wont let me in. I've also been told when i try to join it can crash the party for everyone.

    The laptop is a brand new MSI GE66 Stealth, its always had this issue connecting to xbox parties. Checking my connection under settings>gaming>xbox networking it's all looking good - NAT Type Open and Server connectivity Connected

    Thanks a lot for your time and help! I miss playing with my buddies I try to troubleshoot this every chance I get and I am just stumped!

    Xbox game bar party chat in the setting of xbox game bar party chat audio settings are not being saved but the audio to windows it self saved what i set it to but xbox game bar if i change the settings for party chat it does not save any idea on how to
    fix this ? this is doing this on three PCs as well.
