Windows 10: Xbox Game Bar Didn't Record Like It Should Sound and Video Came Out Bad Take this seriously...

I have an issue that I'm VERY upset about. I spent 17 hours straight on recording a game that I love to play and wanted to have a record of my playthrough of it.

And before you dismiss me

My game ran perfectly fine with no issue

My computer did not overheat

I did constantly stop recording to do a new video. you know stop record with the shortcut tool


So what happened when I reviewed the videos? They were ALL messed up. And DO NOT SAY I overworked my computer because, the very first 17 minutes of recording videos of it, there was corruption. The video made it seem like the game lagged and the audio lagged with it. But on other parts of the same videos there was no issue. However, there are so many parts through out my 17 straight hours of wasted time of these corrupted videos. I have to re record 17 HOURS ALL OVER. Do you realized I risked my own eye sight to do this record? My eyes are still sore from all that time. And it WOULD have been worth it if my videos came out fine.


On a side not I recorded the same game before and it didn't do this but I deleted the videos by accident so I needed to redo it


And yes my computer is up to date and all that stuff so please don't ask.


I'm on an HP Windows 10 1903 64-bit

I know you usually ask that stuff.

And do take in account that my game does run perfectly fine and I had recorded before with no issue. I didn't mean to delete my original videos. And they came out fine I know that much. And on top of that I have recorded many stuff before on this software and didn't have any issues until this time. I don't understand. I always do clean ups and do anything I can to make I don't have record issues.

I even asked a tech expert who is a friend and they didn't even understand what happened to my records.


So be aware there may be an issue with the Xbox bar.

Xbox game recorder

Today, while recording a game using the Xbox DVR, I played back the video I had recorded and noticed that it came with no sound. I went to DVR settings and the Audio selection was marked as on and recording
at 192 Kbps. Is there any way to resolve this problem and to give my videos sound?

 

Set video recording quality - Xbox game bar

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know if there's a way to set a lower quality for video recording using Xbox game bar.

In my computer, I can only see two options: default and high. I think both record 1080p videos, which it's just too much for my needs.
