Windows 10: Xbox game bar gallery stopped working

Recently my xbox game bar gallery has stopped working and I can only view captures through files and it is getting quite annoying and I am not sure what to do anymore, I have tried looking at other posts, asking people, and even talked to live chat. One thing i have noticed is my computer now lacks the 'Game DVR' folder which I dont know if its a new thing that it was removed or if thats the issue. Any help would be grand.

Xbox Game Bar gallery is empty?

Windows 10 64-bit 19042.630

This is my first time recording or screenshoting with the xbox game bar.

It apparently works fine; takes screenshots, records videos, and they are all there in the Captures folder.

The problem is, none of those show up in the gallery.

Kindly follow the steps below that could possibly fix the issue.

Fix 1 : Enable game bar in settings

• Go to Settings
  
• Then click Gaming icon to continue.
  
• go to the Game Bar panel, make sure the option Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Gaming bar is on.

Xbox game bar gallery not showing captures!

So whenever I take a recording or a screenshot it never shows up in the "gallery" of the xbox game bar.

I always have to open the file folder and look for it.
