  1. Xbox Game Bar is not recording the full length it is set to.

I own a laptop, Alienware M18 R2, with fairly high specs: RTX 4070, Intel core i9 14900HX, 32GB ram and 2x1TB SSDThe problem regards the Xbox game bar. I have set my instant record length to the last 5 minutes. It has no problem recording on certain applications and games, but on the main game I play, Warthunder, the game bar records inconsistently. Sometimes anywhere between 4 and 5 minutes and sometimes even between 2 - 3. This is especially frustrating since the key moments of the clip are in the last few seconds. I have already tried the repair and reset option, provided in the settings ap

  2. Difference between game capture settings "Record the last __" and "Maximum recording length"?

    Hello Sreitich,
    I am Jaspreet Singh.
Record last __ option saves the last moments (amount of time defined by the user) of the game play. Do note that background recording needs to be enabled for this function.

Maximum recording length as the name suggests will record the length of the gameplay as set by you in the record length but this is calculated from game play start not from end.

Cool, thanks! Is there a way to disable the latter?
