Windows 10: Xbox Game Bar Record Button Greyed Out "This Game Doesn't Allow Recording"

My game bar wont record clips as it shows the button as greyed out


This happens for all games such as Rocket League and Fortnite. It used to work like 4 days ago and now it doesn't. When I end task of Xbox Game Bar on Task Manager, the button show up as lighted, but when clicking record nothing happens and the game bar goes away. Then when I try to open it up again the buttons are back to greyed out. After reseting, "record that" works and I can record last few minutes of my gameplay, but I would like to fix live recording too as i have a youtube channel and havent been able to upload anything except shorts.

When i record with xbox game bar and after recording i watch the video and the audio is crackling and popping. Im using a inspiron 15 3000 btw. Someone please reply asap.

In addition, you can also check if the Microphone for game bar is enabled under privacy settings.

1. Go to Settings (press Windows +
   I key together) > Privacy.
   
2. On the left hand pane scroll down and look for
   Microphone.
   
3. Toggle Allow apps to access Microphone
   to ON.
   
4. Under Choose which Microsoft Store app can access your Microphone toggle Xbox game bar to
   ON.
   
5. Restart the game bar.

How to disable Game bar

1. Right-click the Start button.
   
2. Click Settings.
   
3. Click Gaming.
   
4. Click Game bar.
   
5. Click the switch below Record game clips. Screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar so that it turns
   Off.
