Windows 10: Xbox Game Bar showing Valve Source Engine games as "Half Life" instead of Team Fortress 2...

I need help trying to fix this because before it would always show the game but now it shows every source engine game as half life instead of the actual game's title. If anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Half-Life 2 Games do not work!

I am trying to open games that are like hl2.exe and they do not work

OS: Windows 10

Games:

Half-Life 2

HL2 Deathmatch

HL2 Ep. 1

HL2 ep.2

Half Mind(mod)

Get a Life(mod)

FIREFIGHT RELOADED(mod)

Team Fortress 2

Garry's Mod

HL2: Lost Coast

Half-Life Deathmatch Source

Gordon Freakman(Mod)

Ink(Steam Game) Doesnt work either and its neither a source or an hl2 game!

TEAM FORTRESS 2 LAGS AND IS VERY SLOW!

• Does the issue occur with only this game?
• Do you get any error message?

Method 1:

If the issue occurs with only this game, then the issue might be occurring with the compatibility of the game with Windows 10.

I would suggest you to uninstall the Team Fortress 2
game software and reinstall the latest Team Fortress 2
game software in compatibility mode and check, if it works.

Let’s follow these steps to install the Team Fortress 2
game software in compatibility mode.

1. Download the latest Team Fortress 2
game software from the manufacturer’s website.

2. Right-click on the setup file and click on "Properties".

3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.

4. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Method 2:

If the issue occurs with all games, then I would suggest you to uninstall the graphics card driver and install the latest driver from the manufacturer website.

Refer to the following steps to uninstall the graphic card driver from the Device Manager.

a. Click on Windows key + X and then, select Device Manager.

b. Locate and expand “Display Adaptor” in the Device Manager Window.

c. Right-click on the “Display Adaptor” and click on “uninstall" the graphic card driver.

d. Restart the computer and check, if it works.
