Windows 10: Xbox game bar trimming clips

How do I trim the videos I record on Xbox game bar, when I try to shorten in through the actual mp4 it says I don't have permission, so if anyone knows how to directly trim the clips from the game bar itself, please tell me.

• Is this happening to others clips on a different game as well?
• Are you logged in with the same Microsoft account in the Xbox app on Windows 10 and on the Xbox One?

Windows 10 Xbox App: Game DVR Issue with Trimming Clips

- There are no error messages when I trim a clip. It's as if nothing happen.

- So far with the games I have been playing: Gears of War 4 (on Windows 10), Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Warframe.

- I have not tried out other games but just these recent ones.

- I do not have an Xbox One but I use the same Microsoft account with my Xbox 360 and any Microsoft product I have.

My device is up to date.

I do have the hardware requirements for game DVR.

EDIT: I'm still having issues with trimming.

 

Downloading Game Clips

Hello fam,

I am having trouble trimming my video captures on Xbox. So I started using the Xbox Live App on Windows 10. In order for me to trim the videos I have to download them to my laptop. Once I have done this the app tells me it does not recognize the game so
therefore I can't share the clip. Any suggestions?
