Windows 10: XBox Game Bar Won't Record on my Device Anymore?

Since I've gotten my computer I have been able to use the xbox game bar to record and save clips from my games and other apps, but it has randomly (as far as I can tell) stopped working. I get an error that says "Sorry, this PC doesn't meet the hardware requirement for recording clips. For more info, go to Xbox Game Bar settings."



Please help me find a solution, I love capturing the funny moments I have with my friends

Xbox Game Bar Capture Doesn't Record Mic Audio

I understand that you are facing issues while recording microphone audio using game bar while playing games.



I would suggest you to try troubleshooting Game Bar and see if that helps. Refer the article

In addition, you can also check if the Microphone for game bar is enabled under privacy settings.

1. Go to Settings (press Windows +
   I key together) > Privacy.
   
2. On the left hand pane scroll down and look for
   Microphone.
   
3. Toggle Allow apps to access Microphone
   to ON.
   
4. Under Choose which Microsoft Store app can access your Microphone toggle Xbox game bar to
   ON.
   
5. Restart the game bar.

Xbox Game Bar Not Launching

I would suggest you refer to the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Uninstall and re-install Xbox app:

Right-click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose Windows PowerShell (Admin).

On the PowerShell window, copy-paste the following command and hit Enter:

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Xbox app | Remove-AppxPackage

Reboot the machine once the command is executed and reinstall the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store.

After the app is installed successfully, try hiding the recording timer.
