Windows 10: Xbox Game Pass at PAX East 2019

The Xbox Game Pass team is excited to announce we’ll be packing up and heading to Boston for PAX East from March 28-31, where we’ll showcase an array of new gaming experiences so you can discover your next favorite game! Whether you’re joining us in person or following along on social, here’s what you can expect:

Xbox Game Pass Booth

Come join us and discover an array of exciting new games at the Xbox Game Pass PAX East booth! Fans will have the opportunity to play nine brand new ID@Xbox titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, as well as Forza Horizon 4 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Not only that, fans can take an interactive quiz to get a recommendation for their next favorite game. We’ve got playable demos of Void *******s, Killer Queen Black, The Good Life, Afterparty, Supermarket Shriek, Blazing Chrome, Outer Wilds, Operencia: The Stolen Sun, Forza Horizon 4, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. After playing one of the games from our ID@Xbox program, there will be a chance for fans to receive a custom pin modeled after that specific title.

Xbox Game Pass Sweepstakes

(This is where you say to yourself in that announcer voice, “but wait, there’s more!”). Fans can also enter for a chance to win one of four limited edition custom Xbox One X consoles influenced by some of the indie titles featured in the PAX East booth. Consoles featured are inspired by Void *******s, Outer Wilds, Supermarket Shriek, and Operencia: The Stolen Sun and we can’t wait for you to check them out.

ID@Xbox Game Pass Showcase

Yeah, we still have more to share! We are also excited about today’s debut of ID@Xbox Game Pass, a show highlighting great indie games coming to Xbox Game Pass. With ID@Xbox Game Pass, you can learn more about some of the most anticipated indie games launching through the ID@Xbox program and coming to Xbox Game Pass including reveals and gameplay, and you’ll also hear from some of the developers themselves!

Major Nelson Radio LIVE

Major Nelson has been here since the beginning of PAX East way back in 2010. Nine years later and they’re still coming back. Come see this live show before someone figures them out! Join Larry Hryb, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson and Jeff Rubenstein, Xbox Live’s Rubes as we record an episode of the long running Xbox-centric podcast “Major Nelson Radio” live in front of our studio audience.

It will be an hour of awkward audience participation, Xbox prizes, guests, and maybe some fun.

Mixer @ PAX East 2018 April 5-8, 2018

Xbox and Mixer are heading to Boston for PAX East this week, running April 5-8, 2018. If you have a PAX East badge, you’ll get the opportunity to play new Xbox games for the first time, interact with streamers through Mixer, and meet some of your favorite developers. Not able to make PAX East in person? Our biggest event will be streamed to you live on Mixer, and the Xbox Most Powerful Gamers Sweepstakes on the official @Xbox Twitter channel is open to everyone. Read on for all the information you need!

Xbox Booth

Experience Xbox One’s largest, most diverse games lineup in the Xbox booth! Try your hand at nine different titles available to play, including Sea of Thieves, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Ashen, Below, DayZ, and for the first time ever: State of Decay 2. The Xbox Booth will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time from Thursday through Sunday and is only available to PAX East badge holders.

Sea of Thieves Lounge

Visit the Sea of Thieves Lounge presented by Chips Ahoy! to relax, recharge your devices, and enjoy some Chips Ahoy! cookies. While there, take a selfie with our Sea of Thieves statue, try your hand at the State of Decay 2 claw machine, and pick a game from the Xbox Game Pass vending machine. The Sea of Thieves Lounge will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time from Thursday through Sunday and is only available to PAX East badge holders.

Mixer Booth

Stop by the Mixer booth in Hall A to meet some of your favorite Mixer streamers, catch HypeZone LIVE, and win a chance to score some sweet Mixer swag! Not able to attend in person? Xbox Live Sessions: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with deadmau5 and Brendan Greene

Electronic musician deadmau5 and PUBG Creative Director Brendan Greene (PlayerUnknown) will be joined by Xbox Live’s Major Nelson to play PUBG live in front of fans at PAX East. Fans at home can tune in to watch and submit questions on mixer.com/xbox and twitch.tv/xbox. An autograph session will follow. The Xbox Most Powerful Gamers Sweepstakes

Whether you’re at PAX East or tuning in from home, you have the chance to win everything you need to become one of our Most Powerful Gamers. PAX (originally known as Penny Arcade Expo) is a series of gaming festivals held in Seattle, Boston, Melbourne, and San Antonio. PAX was created by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, the authors of the Penny Arcade webcomic, because they wanted to attend a show exclusively for gaming.
