    I have read someone else's question having the exact same problem from back in 2021 on windows 10 here but I have tried what was suggested in the thread and had no success. looking at my recordings it seems like the problem started on December 19th 2022 because I have 2 recordings on that day, one records my mic and the other doesn't. as the linked thread mentions, if recording settings is set to "all" my mic mutes itself in manual recordings and the "record last" feature. but if it is put to "game" then it doesn't record discord as is intended. prior to recently it worked perfectly, but it

    gamebar not recording my mic

    my gamebar isnt recording my mic anymore but is recording my friends mics on discord and in game mics.

    how do i fix this problem

    Gamebar capture not recording audio

    Hello,

    I am an Independent Microsoft Advisor. Press Windows + G to open gamebar then click on Settings (Icon). Now navigate to "Capturing" and then choose "Game + enabled mic" under "Audio to record".
