    Xbox app and Xbox game bar issues on windows 10 persist to windows 11

    Hi ET. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

    Are you on Version 21H2 after running the Repair Install? Did the Game Bar queued in Store go away?

    If so uninstall all Xbox apps in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.

    Then reinstall Xbox app, restart again, the reinstall the other Xbox apps, from MS Store Library.

    Please report back results for all steps given so I know what else to suggest if necessary.

    Windows 10 Xbox DVR app thinks Chrome is a game

    When setting up the XBox game app, and the XBox DVR game bar, I must have checked the box that Chrome is a game app.

    How do I undo that?

    Every time I open Chrome, the game bar pops up.

    I don't want to select "don't show this again", because then it'll disable it for real game apps. I just want to remove Chrome from the list.

    Thoughts?
