Windows 10: xbox icon keeps reappearing.

xbox icon keeps reappearing. Makes me look very unprofessional for work. I keep trying to uninstall and remove it from taskbar but it just keeps coming back after I turn my PC back on. This is the most annoying thing. I know I will never buy an xbox and will recommend other never to get it because of thisl.

Is there a way to keep XBox icon from reappearing in taskbar whenever booting computer?

Do you really need a screenshot of an Xbox icon in a normal taskbar, along with all my usual browser and Adobe icons? There's really nothing to see except the little white ball in it's green x-box that's the app icon. It's not even on the desktop--just in the taskbar.

Xbox comes already installed on this computer and is properly listed in the start menu it isn't listed in the "choose what appears on the taskbar" settings list, (screenshot below). The console and game bar do not show up in the taskbar--only the Xbox.

 

Folders keep reappearing


The script "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC.reg" has a major bug. The linked folders keep reappearing under This PC. This is what happens:

1. Quick Access and This PC both contain the Documents folder
2. The "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC.reg" script is applied
3. The linked folders disappear from This PC. Everything is fine.
4. I click the Documents folder under Quick Access, then double click a documents sub folder on the right panel.
5. The Documents folder reappears under This PC.

The idea of my setup is to have all common folders pinned under Quick Access, and none under This PC to avoid any duplicates. Is there any way to fix this?

 

Is there a way to keep XBox icon from reappearing in taskbar whenever booting computer?

I have tried taskbar settings to turn this off and looked in the XBox settings, all to no avail. I can remove the icon from the taskbar, but it will reappear whenever computer is restarted. Is there not some way to prevent this? (Running Win 10 on a new MSI laptop. This doesn't happen on my old Surface Book.)
