DiRT Rally 2.0 Stuck in Xbox app

Thank you Jeffrey,

I guess not need for step 2 as I won't run it as .ps1 script.

I tried the command, but the game is still stuck in the Xbox app, keep in mind that the game is not listed in Windows apps.

 

Things that would make Windows 10 AWESOME.

For anyone that's dealing with the same frustration, I have found this works to prevent bloatware apps from reinstalling when adding a new profile.

• Preform a clean install of Win 10 (I used a VM)
• Install updates or use a recent build like 1703 at the time of this posting
• Powershell: Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -online | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online
• Powershell: Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
• Unpin all tiles you don't want from the stat menu. You need to have at lest one tile or the next step will fail.
• Powershell: Export-StartLayout.xml <path><filename.xml>
• Open Group Policy editor: User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Start Menu and Taskbar>Start Layout
• Under options: Start Layout File enter the path to your xml file created above.
• Configure anything else you want then sysprep and image the drive.

If you are working in a domain you can do this with a global GPO. This was for a small workgroup with out a DC.

 

Can't install xbox wireless adapter drivers on windows 10.

I understand that some steps ae done to try to resolve this issue and that you have tried downloading the drivers from the Microsoft Update Catalog. For us to help you in resolving this issue, may we ask you to do the following?

• Unplug the XBOX cable from the computer.
• Restart your computer.
• Plug in the XBOX cable and check if it will try to install the adapter.

If the above step won't work, I suggest you to follow the suggestions by
Andre Da Costa in below article and check if it resolves the issue.
