Windows 10: Xbox one bluetooth controller won't connect to pc, work's on another pc

Hi, I can't get my xbox controller to work on my another pc which shows the device as paired but the controller still flashes in discovery mode... works flawlessly on my main pc. Both pc's run latest win10 updates, tried manually updating drivers in device manager, removed and reconnected countless times, works without issues with cable but won't connect via bluetooth... controller firmware up to date, main pc specs (controller works): x570i aorus wifi, 3700x, specs of pc where it won't work: z170i pro gaming asus, 6700k

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.

PC won't boot with XBox One Controller connected

As stated in the title: PC won't boot with XBox One Controller connected. I have two computers, both with Windows 10 Home 64 bit. Both computers have the XBox One driver installed. One PC has the Normal Bios and that PC will boot with either
a XBox360 or XBox One Controller connected. The other PC has a UEFI Bios and with an XBox360 controller connected it boots.....But..... If there is an XBox One controller connected it won't boot. If it will boot with an XBox360 controller connected why wouldn't
it boot with an XBox One controller connected? Both controllers are wired.

Any suggestions ??

If you encounter issues connecting an Xbox One Wireless Controller on your Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth, it may be because of an incorrect device configuration. Another factor that we have to take into consideration is an outdated Bluetooth driver. We suggest
running the Bluetooth troubleshooter on your Windows 10 PC. Here are the steps:

• Select the Start button, then select Settings >
  Update & security > Troubleshoot.
• Under Find and fix other problems, select Bluetooth >
  Run the troubleshooter.
• Restart your device so that the changes will take effect.
• Disconnect then reconnect the controller and check if the same issue occurs.

We also recommend verifying if the Bluetooth device shows on the Device Manager. To do so, kindly perform the following steps:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
• In Device Manager, select View > Show hidden devices.
• In Device Manager, select View > Devices by connection.
• Find your Bluetooth hardware.
