Windows 10: XBOX One Controller and XBox Series X Controller let Windows 11 crash

Microphone not working using the Xbox Series X controller on Windows 11

Hello,
as I always did on my Windows 10 machine, i wanted to plug my Xbox Series X controller via USB and use it to connect my Xbox headset to listen to audio and use the microphone to talk. The problem is that, on my new Windows 11 machine this does not work. I plug my controller, plug my headset into my controller, go to my device list and set the headset as default for both audio input and output.
Even if the input device related to my Xbox Controller shows up, it does not pick up any audio whatsoever.

Things that i tried already:

- Using the xbox controller wireless adapter: microphone does not work

- Using another headset: microphone does not work

- Updating Xbox Controller Firmware using "Xbox Accessories" app: microphone still does not work

- Uninstalling and reinstalling both Xbox Controller drivers and Xbox Controller Audio drivers: microphone still does not work

- Using the device on my Windows 10 machine: the microphone works.

What can i do to make it work again on Windows 11?

Rebind Xbox Series X/S Controller Share button
