Windows 10: Xbox one controller- cannot connect with a PC

Hi, I need help with connect my xbox one s controller (white) with PC. Case:

- new bluetooth pad (yes, it's not the version with plastic around "X" which hasn't bluetooth)

- it works normally via microusb

- I've purchased bluetooth 4.0 dongle, I plugged in to my pc and it paired without problem my mobile phone or tv.

- all windows 10 updates are up to date

- I've got also xbox one, checked with console and it works normally

- pad has been updated to latest version (via xbox)

- pc bluetooth dongle has latest drivers

- I've also got secondary xbox one pad which is identical model, it acts like mentioned above (acts exactly the same)


Additional information:

- I am currently using xbox 360 pads with pc, for that I've got original microsoft 360 adapter, and as I know it won't work with x1 pads and it doesn't

- I've found old bluetooth 2.0 dongle and tried to pair it with x1 pad, and it asked me for PIN (wtf? with 2.0 bluetooth?). Ofc I've no idea what is the PIN. Combinations 1234, 0000, 123456789, 1234567890 doesn't work. No PIN is mentioned on the original xbox box/instruction

- I've also changed usb ports of these bluetooth 2.0 and 4.0, but nothing changed

- However 4.0 dongle is usb 2.0, is that a case? I connect them to 3.0 port, Didn't check for 2.0 port but it's compatible so I don't think it's this issue

it has additional bluetooth manager called CSR Bluetooth. It found pad, but it couldn't pair it. Acted like it's unavailable for ~1minute - can't pair (phone/tv paired successfully)

I have checked pad with my laptop, and it paired normally. Should it be a problem with dongle then?

What options I have left to do? If it won't work with my current situation question is if there is any bluetooth connector I can pin in directly to motherboard PC? So it will act like bluetooth in laptops.

Or am I forced to buy original Microsoft adapter? Will the new one be compatible also with x360 controllers?

• Click on “Play from console”.
