Windows 10: Xbox one controller not working on pc Wired

i dont have any bluetooth features in my pc so im forced to use a wired connection but even that doesnt work. my controller is just in a sync state and turns back off while my pc doesnt even recognize it at all, but my controller is powered. dont say any of the obvious fixes because ive tried them all, like using a different cord and or usb port. i need an actual fix.

Xbox One wired Controller doesn't work. Only with GOW


As title says. My Xbox One wired Controller works great with all games I have, except for Gears of War.
Any suggestion?

The drivers for Xbox 360 Controllers are automatically installed on Windows 10. If your Xbox 360 wired controller is not detected by your PC, try plugging it into a different USB port, and then test it again.

We also suggest that you install all the critical and important updates on your computer by following the steps on this

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc
