Windows 10: Xbox One controller skips 2 menu items in games when connected to Windows 10

Hi. I am using Windows 10, and since the last Windows Update 1-2 days ago, I've been experiencing this problem, which has never happened before:I'm using an Xbox Series S/X controller, connected via a USB cable to my PC.In all games and "controller test" apps, the left thumb controller and the left D-pad skip forward "two times" when I press in any direction. This is most noticeable when in a game menu - pressing up or down on either the thumb controller or D-pad will move the cursor along by 2 items instead of 1.
