Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha & Beta Rings will begin receiving the latest 1906 Xbox One system update (19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1906\18362.4039.190527-1922).

Mixer

Users can watch full-screen Mixer streams on the Mixer Twist. Simply navigate to the Mixer twist, select a stream and hit A. Please test out these new features and provide feedback.

Fixes:

My Games and Apps

We have fixed an issue with any game that you own that is also in Game Pass did not show in your Ready To Install (RTI).

We are resolved an issue with duplicate tiles in RTI.

Performance fixes to games when resuming them from a paused state.

System

Fixes to stop the guide UI from jumping around in the UI.

Narrator fixes to various parts of Home/Profile/Gamerscore Leaderboard and the Dashboard.

Various Localization fixes.

Console Out of Box Experience (OOBE) fixes to the Light theme.

Club chat text entry UI fixes.

Known Issues:

Audio

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.

My Game and Apps

We are tracking an issue in which some media apps like Hulu playback may stutter during playback.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Alpha & Skip System Update 1810.180726-1906 - July 29

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha – Skip Ahead and Preview Alpha rings will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1810.180726-1906). Important Build Notes

Avatars

We’ve received feedback that the integration of Avatars on console has been a bit confusing due to the use of phrases like “Avatars on Home” and “Avatars on Dashboard,” so we wanted to clear up a few things. Currently, Avatars are visible to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha Rings in the following places: the Avatar Editor, activity feed, leaderboards, and the Profile.

Fixes

Groups

Fixed an issue in which some users would receive and error when deleting Local Groups.

Home

Fixed an issue in which Pinned content blocks overlapped with the Most Recent App on dashboard on console boot.

Settings

Fixed an issue in which some users with Auto sign-in would still see the sign in screen when booting to live tv

Known Issues

Avatars

It can take up to 10 seconds to view an Avatar on the profile screen the first time after your console has flashed.

Microsoft Edge

The cursor may disappear when exiting and re-entering the app

Workaround: Press Y when re-entering the app to make the cursor re-appear

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter an incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

New Xbox One Preview Alpha System Update (1804.180328-1922) - Mar. 31

Starting at 2 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Update Alpha ring will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1804.180328-1922). Read on to learn more about fixes and known issues in the latest system update.

Fixes:

Audio

Fixed an issue in which some users may experience a black screen or a console crash when the default audio is set to Dolby Atmos.

Fixed low audio volumes some users have been encountering in various apps and games.

Known Issues:

Pi-hole

Pi-hole users may encounter issues signing in, creating, or recovering accounts upon downloading the 1804 update. This is due to a new configuration file which is downloaded from a URL Pi-hole blocks by default.

Workaround: Add clientconfig.passport.net to the Pi-hole allowed IP address list.

Netflix

Netflix on Monitor only works at 1080p and does not support 1440p – Netflix is aware of the issue. Workaround : If watching Netflix on a Monitor/LCD please set the display output to 1080p.

HDR Issues

Some users are discovering that some games are not showing in HDR – Please file feedback when you encounter this to help in the investigation.

Controller sharing/ Co-pilot vibration issues

Some users may experience a problem with a controller vibrating non-stop when using the share controller or the co-pilot feature.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Home

Some users are reporting when quitting a game or app via the guide Home is not loading and you see a black screen.

Audio

Hulu app volume is lower and being investigated.

My Games and Apps – Better Sorting

We are adding a new feature in this build to sorting in My Games and Apps today based on User feedback. You will now see more date categories for sorting by last update or last used. Please test out the new feature and provide feedback.

Friends list shows where your friends are playing

We have added the new feature in this build of displaying where your friends are playing in the guide. Please test out the new feature and provide feedback.

Voice channels in messaging

Voice channels have been added to Xbox Live messaging on console. This feature is only available in Alpha and can only be used between Alpha users. If you and a friend are both in Preview Alpha, we’d highly encourage you try adding a voice channel and let us know what you think!

Fixes:

Kinect

We have fixed the issue with the Kinect video feed being delayed.

Messaging

Resolved issues with one to one voice invites

My Games and Apps

Fixes to address installation status of game bundles to correctly show overall installation status.

Fixes to the Cloud Save system that some users were experiencing with “Your other Xbox is taking a long time to sync to the cloud”.

System

Fix all voice chat strings and change party icon to headset icon.

Resolved some missing settings in the Settings UI.

Localization fixes.

Known Issues:

Audio

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.

Some users are encountering no audio on their Xbox console after boot (no shell audio, no game audio, no app audio), then have CSS ask them to perform the following steps:

Cold reboot the console

OR

Go to Audio settings on console

Change their HDMI audio settings to the highest supported uncompressed channel count for their equipment

Switch back to the desired format

Audio should be restored

My Games and Apps

We are tracking the video corruption issue with Youtube and Netflix 4k playback.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.
